Né à Paris en 1950, je vécu mes premières années dans le quartier du marais. Les pavés mouillés dorés par les réverbères, les odeurs des escaliers de mon immeuble imprégnés d’un parfum discret de cire d’abeilles et de senteurs de café fraîchement moulus du matin, la musique tzigane des bars
alentour de la tour Saint-Jacques furent mes
premiers souvenirs.
Vingt sept ans plus tard, le Centre Pompidou avec d’autres monuments inauguraient le temps de la modernité. Après cinq années de cours en Arts graphiques, aux écoles Epdi et Corvisart, je devins maquettiste, puis, rédacteur-graphiste en publication assistée par ordinateur. Trente années passées dans l’édition, au fond de moi, je regardais les jours se suivre, et couler insidieusement vers l’entropie inéluctable de mon existence.
Alors, je pris la décision de me jeter à travers une fenêtre, placée face
à mon miroir, ouverte sur un monde qui est essentiellement en moi,
la peinture dans l'univers de Gaïa.

Born in Paris in 1950, me lived my first years in the district of the swamp. The wet pavements gilded by streetlights, smells of the staircases of my building soaked with a discreet perfume of beeswax and with scents of coffee freshly ground of the morning, the gypsy music of bars surrounding of the tower Saint Jacques were my first memories
Twenty seven years later, the Center Pompidou with the other monuments inaugurated the time of the modernity. After five years of lesson in graphic Arts, at schools Epdi et Corvisart, I became a model maker, then, a writer-graphic designer in computer-aided publishing. Thirty years spent in the edition, in the heart of me, I watched in daytime following itself, and flowing insidiously towards the inevitable entropy of my existence. Then, I made the decision to throw to me through a window, placed in front of my mirror, opened on a world which is essentially in me, the painting in the universe of Gaïa.
